As I am writing this final blog, I don’t know where to start and how I would go about wrapping up the journey I and my ASUS have traveled right before your screen. In the span of 2 ½ months, I want to give a big thank you for all the readers, commenter, rater, the passerby, my fellow bloggers and most of all to ASUS for holding out this contest for us bloggers. It has been a good ride and it’s now time to wrap things up.
Why Touche’?
I haven’t explained to you guys why I named my blog Touche’ instead of naming it like with any blog titles that could have “Eee” with it. Touche’ is a French expression in response to a clever, witty statement in life. Touche’!
For me, Touche’ is a fitting blog title for my blog because I found my ASUS as a clever answer to my life. My ASUS EEE pc was bought out of necessity when I was struggling over having a bigger and heavier laptop. It was an answer to my school work, my travel and to the daily needs of being online – minus carrying a heavy laptop.
Why ASUS?
When I was choosing a netbook to invest in with my own personal saving, a lot of thought was put in to choosing where to invest my money in. This was probably the most expensive thing I have purchase with my own money and couldn’t be happier with it. http://myeeepcmylife.com.ph/miemie/how-do-you-love-theee-a-non-techies-pov-point-of-view/ gives you all the reason how I come to choosing ASUS over other product offered in the market.

Traveling with my ASUS EEE pc
My ASUS and I have come far in the span of 2 ½ months. From traveling back and forth from my hometown to Manila, to now here in Baguio- it still have places to go to. I’m a proud owner of an ASUS EEE pc which I get to bring with wherever I travel. This past 2 ½ months, I’ve been lucky enough to visit Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia (3 countries where Star Virgo visit, I think).

@ the plane, off to Singapore.
Three countries that is truly memorable for me and which I’ve shared to my friends by updating my blog religiously while traveling. It has become my partner in crime, my constant traveler’s companion and truly a traveler’s must have.

The up’s and down of being a student
When I started blogging here- I was still a college student who was going through a major pain in the ass (THESIS), juggling to get good grades for my major classes, org works and besides that, trying to enjoy to what was left in my last term in college. One of the reasons I’ve decided to invest over an ASUS was because of school, mostly. I was tired of getting stopped at the entrance gate of the school and the guard asking me to sign a permit for my laptop. Besides carrying a heavy laptop- transitioning to ASUS EEE pc, which almost weigh nothing compared to my old laptop, was an answered prayer to my problem. It does the work without the load of weight.
And now that I finally going to graduate this October, I can’t help but be grateful for the whole college experience and also for my ASUS who didn’t let me down at time when I needed it the most.
Soon, my ASUS and I will take another path towards fulfilling my goal to becoming a doctor. Come this June, I’m entering Medicine. (wish me luck) :)
ASUS is for me
Besides being a student and a traveler, I am just a normal teenager who goes through life as it happens. Happy go lucky, sometimes serious, sometimes careless and sometimes outrageous. I lived half of my life online. Endlessly, I’m always online over my online accounts sharing to my friends what happen in my daily life or just meeting new people around. But I am not getting any younger, I must now fill in the shoes of a grown up, I’m learning how to deal with my own bank accounts, paying the bills and becoming more responsible- using the internet.

I have my own life here in the real world but I also have a life in the internet realm. My ASUS is my way on how I access my “internet life” that I have built. It is my way staying connected to the rest of the world.
As this contest ends, I must now thank everyone who’ve read this blog as a passerby or as a regular. I am happy that I am now at the end of the finish line along with my fellow bloggers. I’ve worked hard and disciplined my self into finishing what I’ve started and I know I deserve a chance to win like everyone else is.
If you ask me that grand prize question, asking- why I deserve to win?
Here is my answer to you:
I deserve to win not because I own the most popular blog site, nor do I own the most numbered of post. But this contest was not about that. This contest was about my Eee pc and my life-It’s about you and your Eee pc and how you deal your day by day life. I’m proud to say that I moved myself from following trends that need not be all about computer games, computer sites and what not. This blog was dedicated to how I dealt with my own life with the help of my ASUS and much of it sharing my happiness, angers, troubles, memories over my ASUS and my blog. I may not be the greatest writer/blogger out there but I hope my blog left an impression to you guys. I deserve to win because I wrote with soul and I wrote by opening my life to you guys.
