This was not how my I planned my Saturday. Woke up in my alarm at 10 am and the room still looked dark. I thought, I placed a wrong alarm yet again and just decided to go back to sleep. Woke up again after a few minutes due to constant dripping and wind howling sounds and decided to check my watch for the real time. and then boom, its already 11:33 am! And whaaat is that dripping sound??!

Lo and behold, my room/pad is being flooded from ceiling leaks! And the rain outside,when I peered through the window, have no plans on stopping anytime soon! I’ve watched the news yesterday and didn’t seem to hear a typhoon would be hitting Manila this hard. Oh man, I’m getting paranoid. Besides from earthquake and fire, typhoon is my next worries since living in a condo in a high rise building will give you all sorts of worst case scenarios.
The ceiling is leaking!!!!
To top it all of, I am all alone in my place!!! The electricity was going off and on this morning and its kinda scary that the last life line you have would suddenly go down. Luckily, the electricity went back and is now stable. I’ve charged my cellphone, emergency light and laptop just to be sure. Oh, how I need my parents now more than ever.After a quick check in the whole room for any more damages, I’ve decided to go online and at least get to talk to someone else before I go paranoid over what is happening! At least the good thing about this rain is that it keeps everyone stay home and go online. About 1/3 of my friends are online in facebook! Wow.

Today was supposed to be our football day. Today was also supposed to be when I’ll be meeting up with my friends for a business plan. And today was also supposed to be when I’ll be going back home to the province. All cancelled because of ONDOY! Argh.

Wish I could’ve stayed home but had to do some errands… Errands were not done as I became stuck in traffic. Useless day.
You should have stayed home damian.. The rain is insane andbeen hearing stories feeded from the net and tv, and sadly many are still stranded, needs rescue, needs basic necessities and most have their houses flooded inside already.
I can’t imagine how many are suffering and are helpless right at this moment. I just hope everyone will get home safe, be safe and pray.. always pray.
It will all be alright.
