Sawatdeekap!We’re here!

We landed in Thailand around 2:40pm. The weather here is hot hot hot. Our group is just composed 8 people ( Me, my mom, aunt and my cousin and Tito D., Mic, Ate C., Ate M.)
From the airport, A guy picked us up, who then introduce himself as Simon, will also be our guide for the rest of the trip.
We had this huge bus ( think Victory Liner bus with a CR) with a seating capacity of 45 people(?) all to ourselves! and Simon said this will be our bus for the rest of the trip! yay! 8 people seating in a huge bus.. hehe.. :)
From the Airport, we then went to our Hotel, which was this uber exclusive and posh hotel, the well renowned Banyan Tree Hotel! This was a first for me (staying in such expensive hotel.) my gulay. I am already loving it!
While waiting for our room keys, guest are served with real sampaloc juice in the lobby. Super sarap! It was sweet yet had a tangy flavor. Yummy. I had 2 glasses of it! :)

Sampaloc juice
So we got our keys and then went to our room to leave our bags behind, wash up and do other personal stuff for 20 mins and then go back to the lobby since we will soon start out Iterinary for the day.
I love our room! plus we were welcomed with delicious fruits in our room!

One of the smallest banana I have ever seen! Its even smaller than a senyorita! :)
After, we went down and then left the hotel to start our first iterinary for the whole trip.
First, we went to MBK Mall to shop since we had a few hours to spare before having a dinner..
then had dinner in Lamcharoen Seafood Resto.

Please excuse the photos. I don’t have any decent pics. I was that hungry that I almost forgot to take pics. hahaha. :)
The seafood were so delicious! ( and that green sauce in the right side was so spicy but really goes well with everything!)
After dinner, We went to the main point of our iterinary for the day..
SIAM NIRAMIT!

Our Group@ the gate. ( Ate M., Ate C. my Cousin Sue, me, Tito D., mom, aunt and mic)
Since we still had to wait a few minutes before the show itself, we went to explore the grounds of area.

( from left to right: me and Sue, I got carried by an elephant!, me with fam. :))
There were music playing, some dance, historical set ups, free food taste inside the grounds and then after a few minutes or so, it was announced that the show was about to start. So we went inside this palatial auditorium ( Some facts: SIAM NIRAMIT holds the World’s Guiness record for their Auditorium having the highest seating capacity! It was so huge!)
Cameras, videocams and even cellphones were not allowed inside the auditorium. Too bad.
I wanted to capture a memory of the show! It was an amazing show! The best cultural show I have ever seen in my whole life. It was so great. From the effects, Thunder, real rain, a man made river inside the auditorium!, and even the elephant was inside the auditorium! It was that huge!!! and the songs and dance and all the colors of their costume! It was so beautiful that I was so awake during the whole show! I love it.
I hope Philippines can have a show like this one too. It would be Amazing. :I
The show ended about 11:30pm. It was so fun but I was really tired from everything we did today.
And so the day ended with a bang and off we went back to our hotel to call it a night.

Its almost 1 am here now as I am writing this blog with my Asus, Bubs. Although Internet is not really free here in the hotel, but I was able to connect through an unknown private Wifi.. hehe. sheer joys of free wifi! :)
And so it is late and I think Sue is already sleeping and the room is rather quiet already. But I love to stay awake for a few more minutes to update some stuff here in the net before I hit the sack. I love to stay up late since I am find this peace in the late hours of the night (or early morning hours) as a time for myself to think and be thankful for today.
Today I am thankful for many things. :)
Life is good. and I hope everyone feels the same. :)
Well, I end my blog here. As I need to get ready for tomorrow. Breakfast starts at 6 am and our group’s call time is 7:30 am.
Wish me luck, sana magising ako!
Tonight I shall sleep well!
Nyt!
